This is my opinion based on 3 visits.
1. We see Dr. Roe, who I truly like. He is very personable, kind, authentic and seems to be well versed in medical research.
2. The first pediatrician we chose for our newborn ended up falling through, and this practice was able to get us in Dane day to see our 5-day old. That was a great first impression.
3. My first two visits had very short wait (maybe 15-20 minutes) and loved getting brought back immediately with newborn. Our 2-month visit was a much longer wait, close to an hour to see the doctor. The doctor spend a good amount of time with us, but it did feel toward end he needed to leave so I stopped asking questions and decided I’d send in a portal message
4. They do charge weird fees. I think yearly $20 admin fee. If you don’t want your credit card on auto pay, there is a fee if you owe money after insurance and they have to send a bill (I’ve never seen a medical practice do this). If you sent a delayed vaccine schedule, I was told they may charge $30 for that.
5. The front desk staff have been very polite, friendly and helpful on all of my visits.
6. The staff are very responsive to messages sent via their patient portal
7. They have a lactation room if you need to feed baby while onsite, which is nice.
This is my first child so I really don’t have much to compare to. Overall, I’m satisfied, I just hope our future visits aren’t all as long of waits as the last one.
