Take the “pain” out of pain reliever dosing.

Be confident that you are treating your child’s pain or fever with the correct dose of medication. We can guide you here on how much acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil) to give, based on your child’s weight. (Benadryl too!)

Congratulations!

At Piedmont Pediatrics, we share your joy and enthusiasm, and look forward to partnering with you on the exciting journey of raising a child. We offer prenatal phone consults, lactation counseling, a supportive care team, and first-rate medical care for your new family member.

Treating your child’s allergies can be life-changing.

Piedmont Pediatrics is one of the only pediatric practices in Atlanta to offer pediatric asthma and allergy services in our office! Our goal is to find out exactly what your child is allergic to and come up with a treatment plan best suited for them.

Good nutrition is essential to good health.

Our registered dietician can provide in-depth nutrition assessment and counseling to help with a variety of concerns, including food intolerances and allergies, weight management, and much more.

Did your child wake up with a fever, cough, congestion, runny nose? He/she may have the flu (or another respiratory virus). Take a look at the resources below to decide if he/she needs to be seen by the physician or if you can manage their symptoms at home.

Mask Policy Update

Masking for patients and families is no longer required at Piedmont Pediatrics but is highly recommended, especially for those patients arriving with any flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose). Respiratory viruses are very high in the community right now, so we are encouraging our patients and families to wear a mask if they have flu-like symptoms while in the waiting room to help decrease the spread of these viruses. Local hospitals are already at capacity and we, here at Piedmont Pediatrics, want to do our part to prevent our patients from needing already stretched hospital resources.

We are no longer requiring our staff to wear masks either, though we are recommending it when seeing patients. If you would like your provider or nurse to wear their mask while caring for your child, please let them know and they will be happy to wear one while in the room with you.
