Horrible. Our experience with Piedmont Pediatrics was a complete nightmare. After moving out of state, they repeatedly sent our bills to the wrong address despite us submitting a USPS change of address form—and then had the audacity to charge us $5 per paper bill. We ultimately paid $40 in paper billing fees alone, just for their failure to get our address right.
Even worse, we never received any bill at our new address before getting a phone call from their office letting us know we had a balance. When I asked for an itemized invoice so I could check insurance coverage, they never told me I’d be charged yet another $5 just to receive a copy of the bill I never got in the first place.
The absurd fees don’t stop there. They charge a $50 paperwork fee just to sign up, and on top of that, you have to pay for parking—even when you’re a patient. Coming from Oklahoma, where hospital parking is validated for patients, this place feels like a money-grab operation, not a place focused on quality pediatric care.
This office clearly prioritizes billing games over patient communication or service. I’d strongly recommend going anywhere else.
