Highly recommend!! We have four children who go here (over 15 years now) and you will parent your children better from taking them to Piedmont Pediatrics. They provide excellent, professional, sound advice and a perfect philosophy of care for your family.
They have:
1. A clean, comfortable waiting room when you arrive with fun kid movies if you wait which usually isn’t long at all in our experience
2. Friendly nurses who are great with the children – I have one who is afraid of shots and the nurses make a quick stick as painless as possible
3. Best providers…Dr. Roe, Dr. Koenig, Dr. Harris, Mrs. Ivie to name a few we’ve taken our four kids to see. Our girls’ pediatrician is Dr. Roe and he is phenomenal.
4. Never a hold time on the phone to make an appointment — you simply press a number and the office calls you right back
5. Allergy clinic and nutritionist at the same location— in particular Mrs. Ivie was so caring in the allergy clinic and spent a lot of time with my daughter regarding a breathing issue while my daughter was new to running cross country
6. Same day sick appointments, super easy to go in on Saturdays for a sick visit or to go in during others times for a quick flu shot
7. Lactation consultant on site
8. Simple to use patient portal for documents such as sports physicals and camp documents as well as messages
9. Sweet front desk staff — easy sign in and easy check out
10. Decorated with Christmas cards & menorahs and all sorts of decor during the holidays for the kids — I also like that I see a lot of diversity of patients here — no one group of kids would feel left out going here
11. The schedulers will often offer to schedule my girls’ appointments at the same time to make it more convenient as a family
12. As a new mom needing information on what to do they had the best one sheet advice pages by age for my child and will talk through problems on topics like sleeping through the night or vaccine questions or dealing with nutrition, development or other issues, etc.
