Colleen is a registered dietitian nutritionist who is passionate about nutrition throughout her life span. Her goal is to help children, teens, adolescents, and families find balance in their relationship with food. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Georgia State University, completed her dietetic internship at Saint Louis University, and completed her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Alabama. She is working toward her board certification in sports dietetics.
With 10+ years of experience in the field, she is dedicated to helping families develop healthy habits, and explaining nutrition science in an approachable way in order to help kids and families choose supportive eating patterns and learns to trust their bodies. She meets families and kids where they are and believes in a collaborative approach to setting long-term nutrition goals. She holds a special interest in sports nutrition, family nutrition, selective or picky eating and nutrition for sensory needs/texture aversions, and eating disorders/disordered eating prevention and recovery.
She lives in Atlanta with her husband, a Georgia Tech alum, her two children, and her rescue dog, Wesley. She also teaches Pilates to the faculty and staff at The Lovett School. Colleen is available for in-person or virtual consults.
