Dr. Allison Koenig, a board certified pediatrician, was born at Piedmont Hospital and grew up in Atlanta. After attending The Westminster Schools, she went to college at Harvard University where she received a degree in Biology. She earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and stayed in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins for her pediatric residency. Dr. Koenig completed residency in 2001 and joined Piedmont Pediatrics in September, 2002. She currently serves as a member of the CHOA Community Physician’s Advisory Council and as a board member of Kate’s Club. She also participates in international medical mission trips each year.
