Medical Assistant, Full-Time
Piedmont Pediatrics is seeking a caring and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic clinical team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our pediatricians and nurse practitioners during well-child visits, sick visits, and other clinical services. You will assist in preparing exam rooms, updating medical records, administering vaccines, and performing point-of-care testing. You’ll work closely with children of all ages and their families, so professionalism, patience, and a friendly demeanor are key. Our ideal candidate is passionate about pediatrics, organized, and eager to be part of a collaborative care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures
- Administer vaccines and conduct routine screenings
- Document vital signs, history, and clinical findings in EHR
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pediatric or family practice
- Proficient with EHR systems
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Weekend Requirement: 1-2 Saturdays per month on a rotating schedule
