11/21/2014  -   THANKSGIVING WEEK HOURS: We will be closed on Thursday, Nov 27th. We will then reopen on Friday and Saturday mornings for sick-only appointments. Also, there will be no flu shot clinics next week due to the holidays. Thank you so much, and Happy Thanksgiving!
11/17/2014  -   FLUMIST UPDATE: Today, we ran out of our supply for FluMist for this winter season. We still have plenty of injectable FluShots. Sorry for this inconvenience.
11/11/2014  -   FLU VACCINE CLINICS: We are currently having flu vaccine clinics every Wed & Thurs night from 5-6 pm. We will also have two more Sat flu clinics Nov 15 and Nov 22nd from 1-3pm. These are walk-in clinics; no appt is necessary. Both FluMist and injectable Flu shots are available. If your child has a scheduled well-child appt, he/she may also get it at that time. If you bring multiple children in for one child's scheduled well child appt and want the others to get flu shots too, please let the front desk know, so that we can keep the flow of the office moving at a reasonable rate. Thank you so much in advance, and here's to a good, healthy flu season.
9/11/2014  -   FLU VACCINES: Piedmont Pediatrics and the CDC strongly encourage all children between 6 months and 18 years to receive the flu vaccine. This is especially true if your child has any underlying medical conditions, especially asthma or respiratory problems. This year, the CDC has stated that FluMist is slightly more effective than the flu shot for children 2-8 years old. Please talk to your doctor or nurse about this. If this is the first time your child has received a flu vaccine, he/she will need 2 vaccines one month apart. Please call our office with any questions. Thank you very much!
2/28/2014  -   DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING: If your child is coming in for his 18month or 2yr well check, please complete our developmental screening prior to coming in to the office. This can be found under the Patient Forms link here on the website. Thank you very much in advance.
