We are a seven physician pediatric practice located on the Piedmont Hospital medical campus in the heart of Buckhead. Each of our physicians is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We provide comprehensive medical care to children of all ages.

Our physicians strive to promote wellness by focusing on growth and development for each child, and to provide up-to-date medical care in times of sickness. Piedmont Pediatrics looks forward to serving you and your family for many years to come.

5/11/2015  -   NEW ADHD appointment policy: For all patients who routinely take stimulant medications for ADHD, we are implementing a better policy to monitor growth and side effects of these meds. After initially establishing the right medication and dose with your doctor, it is advised that the patient be seen every 3 months during the first year and then every 6 months thereafter for follow-up. Annually, this appt will be the full well-child-check. However, these other quick appts will be for weight, height, blood pressure, and side effect monitoring. These appts may be with your primary doctor or with Barbara Koval, NP, who is specifically trained in ADHD as well. Thank you in advance.
3/18/2015  -   Please pardon our progress! We are transitioning to a new scheduling and billing system to enhance your experience at Piedmont Pediatrics. You may notice some new smiling faces and voices, as well as a slightly different check-in process. We thank you in advance for your patience and truly value your dedication to our practice. THANK YOU!
3/9/2015  -   Due to the recent increase in measles cases in the US and the subsequent increase in media coverage regarding vaccines, Piedmont Pediatrics wants to emphasize that we strongly recommend that all patients be vaccinated according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and CDC guidelines and schedule. We firmly believe in the effectiveness and safety of our vaccines. We also know, through extensive studies and data, that vaccines do not cause developmental disabilities. If you have questions or concerns regarding vaccines, we encourage you to speak with your primary physician.
2/10/2015  -   MEASLES: We are receiving many calls about the recent measles outbreak, including the isolated case now in Atlanta. We definitely understand your concerns. We immunize all of our patients with the MMR vaccine at 12 months and at 4 years old. So, if your child has attended the recommended physical schedule and had his/ her recommended immunizations, he is completely immunized. We will follow all CDC guidelines with regards to further immunizations. At this point, there is no recommendation to immunize infants or travelers within the US. Thank you.
2/2/2015  -   BREASTFEEDING CLASSES: Becky Carraway, RNC IBCLC, (our fabulous lactation consultant), is offering small hands-on breastfeeding classes on The Nature of Breastfeeding. These will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at our office from 6-8pm. There is a small charge of $50/ couple. Please pre-register at 678-466-0993.
