Dr. Richard Weil

Dr. Richard Weil, a board certified pediatrician, attended The American University in Washington, D.C. where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology.He then attended Georgetown University for a master’s degree in Physiology as well as his medical degree. He then completed his pediatric residency at the Emory Affiliated Hospitals and served as chief resident at Grady Hospital. He joined Piedmont Pediatrics in May, 1989. Dr. Weil currently serves as Chief of Pediatrics at Piedmont Hospital and is also on the Board of Directors for Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance. Dr. Weil has been a member of the Georgia Composite Medical Board since 2008. He is married with two children.

Dr. Allison Koenig

Dr. Allison Koenig, a board certified pediatrician, grew up in Atlanta and attended The Westminster Schools. She attended Harvard University where she received a degree in Biology. She earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and stayed in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins for her pediatric residency. Dr. Koenig completed residency in 2001 and joined Piedmont Pediatrics in September, 2002.She currently serves as a member of the CHOA Community Physician’s Advisory Council.

Dr. Elizabeth Griffith

Dr. Elizabeth (or Beth) Griffith, a board certified pediatrician, grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. She attended Emory University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She stayed in Atlanta to earn her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Griffith then moved to Chicago where she completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital of Northwestern University. She also served as chief pediatric resident at Children’s Memorial. After her chief year, Dr. Griffith moved back south and joined Piedmont Pediatrics in July, 2004. She is married with three young children.

Dr. Laura Harris

Dr. Laura Harris, a board certified pediatrician, grew up in Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools. She earned a degree in psychology from Princeton University, and then attended Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Harris joined Piedmont Pediatrics in July, 2005. Her husband, Jack Harris, runs a nonprofit education organization called Junior Achievement of Georgia. They have four young children.

Dr. David Roe

Dr. David Roe, a board certified pediatrician, is an Atlanta native and attended The Westminster Schools. He attended Furman University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music. He went on to the Medical College of Georgia to complete his medical degree and then received his pediatric training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. After residency he served for three years in the United States Air Force as a general pediatrician at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. Dr. Roe joined Piedmont Pediatrics in July 2006 and currently serves on the Quality Utilization and Management Committee of the Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance. He lives nearby with his wife and four young children.

Dr. Steven Elliott

Dr. Steven Elliott, a board certified pediatrician, attended Ohio University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and then received his pediatric training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. After residency he continued at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as a staff physician in the Emergency Room and then in private practice in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Elliott joined Piedmont Pediatrics in May 2008 and lives with his wife and two young children.

Dr. Anna Bramwell

Dr. Anna Bramwell, a board certified pediatrician, grew up in Atlanta and attended The Lovett School. She graduated from Emory University with a degree in Neuroscience and attended Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Bramwell completed her pediatric residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in 2008 and then practiced general pediatrics in the Alpharetta area for 2 years. She joined Piedmont Pediatrics in September, 2010. She lives nearby with her husband and two young sons.

Jennifer Pasley, APRN

Jennifer (or Jenny) Pasley joined Piedmont Pediatrics as a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in December 2012. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Auburn University in 1996 and her Master's of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2001. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Children's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama and then in the PICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite campus. After she received her nurse practitioner master’s degree, she worked with Dr. Timothy Mapstone in pediatric neurosurgery for four years. In late 2004, she joined the Emergency Department of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite as a full-time nurse practitioner. She worked in the ER for 8 years until she joined Piedmont Pediatrics. Jenny, who grew up in Atlanta, is married with three sons.

Barbara Koval, APRN

Barbara Koval joined Piedmont Pediatrics as a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in November 2013. She received her Bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing from Jacksonville University in 1998 and her Master's in the Science of Nursing from Emory University in 2001. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Egleston location. After receiving her Master's degree in 2001, she became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Room at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Scottish Rite facility. In addition to her extensive experience in the ER, Barbara has worked in Primary Care with several other practices in Atlanta.She is married with three young children.
